Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking a confident and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our team. If you have a strong foundation in core subjects and a passion for supporting students’ learning, this role is perfect for you. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring smooth continuity in learning when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering cover lessons across a range of subjects, primarily within KS3 and KS4

Managing classroom behaviour effectively using a clear behaviour policy

Following detailed cover guides to maintain lesson continuity

Organising your schedule with full control over your calendar for flexibility

Adapting confidently to different classroom situations and student needs

Strong knowledge and experience in core subjects (Maths, English, Science)

Excellent organisational skills and a keen focus on time management

Confidence in managing classrooms and engaging students effectively

Flexibility and adaptability to respond to a variety of teaching environments

A proactive and professional approach to cover supervision

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
