About the School

We are a forward-thinking 11–16 secondary school in Redditch, committed to delivering a well-rounded education that nurtures creativity, confidence, and character. Our Art Teacher department plays an essential role in encouraging students to express themselves and engage critically with the world around them. We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Art Teacher to join our talented teaching team and make a meaningful impact at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Art Teacher who is passionate about developing students’ artistic skills and appreciation. As an Art Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging and high-quality Art Teacher lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and teach a dynamic curriculum that covers a wide range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
• Inspire students to explore their creativity while building technical skill and confidence in their work.
• Provide regular feedback, promote independent thinking, and support students in achieving strong outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Art Teacher team to share best practices and ensure consistency in curriculum delivery.
• Lead or support extracurricular activities such as art clubs, school exhibitions, and community art projects.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art or a related subject.
Has proven success in teaching KS3 and KS4 as an Art Teacher, with evidence of strong student progress.
Has excellent subject knowledge and is confident in delivering a broad and challenging curriculum.
Is passionate about helping students of all abilities grow creatively and academically.
Brings a collaborative, positive approach to working with colleagues and supporting whole-school initiatives.
Is committed to contributing to the wider school community through clubs, trips, or creative events.
