Job Advert: Plastic Extrusion Setter & Operator – Dudley

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plastic Extrusion Setter and Operator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Dudley. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career potential.

Position Details

Shifts Available:

6am – 2pm

*

2pm – 10pm

*

10pm – 6am
(You must be flexible to work any of these shifts.)

Pay Rate:

*

£12.50 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

*

Pay increases after passing a 12-week probationary period

Role Responsibilities

*

Setting, operating, and monitoring plastic extrusion machinery

*

Adjusting machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency

*

Conducting quality checks and maintaining production standards

*

Ensuring safe and clean working practices at all times

*

Troubleshooting basic machine issues

Requirements

*

Previous plastics experience is essential – candidates without plastics experience cannot be considered

*

Experience in extrusion setting/operating is highly desirable

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work

*

Available for an immediate start following a successful 1-stage on-site interview
