Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Equipment Manufacturer, looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their site in Uckfield. This is a key senior role within a small, hands-on organisation where leadership, flexibility, and manufacturing expertise are essential.

The Role
Full responsibility for day-to-day manufacturing operations
Lead teams across Production, Machine Shop, Stores & Logistics
Ownership of purchasing, facilities, and HSQE activities
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency initiatives
Manage operational KPIs, forecasts, and performance reporting
Play an active role in senior management and strategic planningExperience Needed

Prior Operations Management experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of production, machining, and supply chain operations
Hands-on leadership style suited to an SME
Experience with cost reduction, continuous improvement, and quality systems
Strong people management and reporting skillsPackage

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
£50,000 - £55,000pa DOE
