Machine Operative – URGENTLY Required

Location: Bridlington

Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week (with overtime available after 38 hours)

Pay Rate:

Monday to Thursday               £14.25 – £14.50 per hour

Fridays                                  £21.38 - £21.75 per hour

We are urgently seeking an Machine Operative to join our client’s busy offsite and modular construction facility in Bridlington. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, Temp-to-Perm role within a growing industry.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of an Engineering/ Modular Production environment. Working closely with the yard and production teams, you will be responsible for labouring on all Engineering and Production staff, plus the safe movement of Engineering and Construction materials, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and in line with health & safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Experience with driving a Forklift Truck to move, load and unload construction and engineering materials.
Transporting construction materials across the yard and workshop.
Operating a Band Saw
Carrying out routine checks and ensuring the forklift remains in good working condition.
Supporting the servicing, cleaning and preparation of modular units.
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised work environment.
Van deliveries
Adhering strictly to all site Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements, Skills and Expereince

Experience of driving a Counter Balance Forklift Truck (preferably in Engineering environment)
Driving licence (preferably clean or up to 6 point but no DR10`s or IN10`s) 
Ability to multitask and adapt to a variety sof duties.
Strong team player with good communication skills.
Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work with minimal supervision.
Band saw or simular machine experience
