Compliance Manager (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Panoramic Associates is working with a respected housing association to appoint a Compliance Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a pivotal role with real responsibility, offering the opportunity to lead compliance activity across the organisation and ensure buildings meet all statutory and regulatory requirements.
You'll take ownership of the "Big 6" areas of compliance, alongside wider mechanical, electrical, and health & safety obligations, playing a critical role in protecting residents, staff, and the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health & safety and compliance records across all properties.
Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks, ensuring appropriate governance controls are in place.
Develop and manage budgets, work programmes, and project plans for compliance initiatives.
Ensure compliance policies and procedures are followed, reviewed, and updated where required.
Lead contractor progress meetings, tracking actions and ensuring timely follow-up.
Monitor performance and report against key compliance measures.
Manage compliance work orders, ensuring they are logged, tracked, and completed.
Carry out customer satisfaction calls and produce reports to identify trends and improvement actions.
Work closely with Engagement and Communications Officers to promote compliance initiatives.
Produce reports and articles for the Annual Report, tenant communications, and internal documentation.
Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes, briefing the Senior Management Team as required.
Work in partnership with the Maintenance Manager to ensure coordinated delivery.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

This role would suit a proactive, organised, and detail-driven compliance professional with experience in housing or property-related compliance. You'll be confident managing multiple work-streams, working with a range of stakeholders, and operating in a regulated environment.
