About
Our College is an independent SEMH specialist school for students aged 11-16, many with EHCPs and diagnoses such as ADHD or ASD.
We provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people who have struggled in mainstream schools or face exclusion.
Key Responsibilities
* Support strategic SEND development
* Lead EHCP reviews (Annual, Interim, Emergency)
* Coordinate daily SEND support and provision
* Oversee looked after pupils
* Provide professional guidance to staff, parents, and agencies
* Advise on SEND budgets, resources, and staff training
* Promote inclusion and curriculum access
* Lead interventions and manage staff/resources
* Quality assure SEND teaching and learning
* Attend and review PEP meetings
Requirements
* Accredited SENDCo qualification
* Hold QTS or QTLS
* Passionate about education and inclusion
* Leadership experience
* Able to manage SEND provision with the Headteacher
