Electrical Site Engineer – Pumps & Mechanical Equipment

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in installation, commissioning, or maintenance? Are you looking to join a fast-paced, growing company working on exciting projects across the UK?
We’re seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join a leading UK provider of pumping systems and associated mechanical equipment. You’ll work closely with mechanical site engineers on a variety of projects – from installation and commissioning to servicing and breakdown response – primarily across the Carlisle, Hexham, and Penrith area.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumps and related equipment
*
Attending customer sites across the UK, with a focus on the North West
*
Occasional overnight stays (approx. once per week)
*
Supporting aftersales and breakdown response teams
*
Completing site reports and customer sign-offs
*
Promoting company products and services while maintaining a professional standard
*
Managing tools, materials, and job timelines efficiently
*
Communication across all levels of the business
*
Handling petty cash and company credit card appropriately
Requirements:
*
18th Edition (BS7671) – Essential
*
C&G Level 3 – Initial & periodic inspection and testing – Desirable
*
Confined Space Training, CSCS Card, and First Aid – Desirable
*
Experience in pump installations or maintenance – Preferred
*
Strong communication, flexibility, and time management skills
*
Self-motivated, team player, and keen to learn new skills
*
Full UK driving licence
