‍? School Chef - Canterbury | £15-£18/hour | School Hours | Immediate Start

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic School Chef to join a vibrant school kitchen in Canterbury, starting as soon as possible and working through to Christmas. If you're passionate about preparing nutritious meals and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

? Location: Canterbury
? Pay: £15-£18 per hour (depending on experience)
? Hours: School hours, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
? Contract: Temporary - ASAP start until Christmas
? DBS Check: Required (must be current or willing to obtain)

Key responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking meals for students and staff
Managing food safety and hygiene standards
Supporting menu planning and stock control
Leading kitchen operations and working alongside catering assistants
Ensuring dietary requirements are met

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a chef, ideally in an educational or similar setting
Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above preferred)
A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a check
Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
