CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a highly successful business located in the Portsmouth, Hampshire area to recruit a Temporary Assistant Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment during a period of heightened workload.
Joining the team at a pivotal time, the ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong Excel and IT skills and the ability to analyse data accurately and efficiently.

What will the temporary Assistant Accountant role involve?

•    Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
•    Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
•    Variance analysis; compare actual financial results to budgets/forecasts.
•    Supporting the business units with ad hoc analysis as required.    

Suitable Candidate for the Temporary Assistant Accountant vacancy:

•    An Accounting and Finance (or similar) degree, ideally a 2:1 and above.
•    Possessing some hands-on finance experience would be an advantage.
•    A fast learner with the ability to work on your own initiative.
•    Available at short notice.
•    Must be local to Portsmouth and able to travel to the office each day.
