I'm currently recruiting for Power Systems Studies Engineers to support major onshore energy projects with a leading global engineering consultancy.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering complex power infrastructure solutions within the energy sector.
The Role
You will support onshore projects delivering detailed power systems studies across captive generation and grid-connected systems.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering comprehensive power systems studies
Equipment sizing and technical analysis
Load flow, short circuit and dynamic motor starting studies
Harmonic analysis, arc flash and transient stability studies
Running EMT software studies
Overseeing and coordinating third-party vendors
Supporting projects involving captive power generation (with or without grid connection)
Required Experience
Proven experience delivering power system studies within energy / oil & gas / LNG environments
Strong working knowledge of ETAP (intermediate level minimum)
Experience across grid-connected and captive generation systems
Comfortable working in an office-based project environment (4 days onsite)
