About the Role
My client is looking for a talented and driven Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ consultancy experience to join their growing structural team. You’ll be working across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects, supporting senior engineers in the design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer ready to take the next step — managing their own projects, liaising directly with clients, and contributing to an expanding portfolio of exciting developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver structural designs in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Produce calculations, drawings, and reports using modern design software.
Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and clients.
Contribute to site inspections and technical reviews.
Support the use of BIM/Revit and promote digital workflows.
Manage time efficiently and deliver projects within deadlines.
Requirements:
BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a UK consultancy environment.
Proficient in software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Revit, and AutoCAD.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working toward ICE or IStructE chartership status (preferred)
