Bromley Council’s Adult Social Care Service is seeking a dedicated Locum Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Reablement Team on a 3-month contract. This role offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity to balance your work and personal commitments while making a meaningful difference to Bromley residents.

Hourly Rate: £32/hour
Location: Bromley Borough – Reablement Team
Flexible working arrangements 2 days in office and 3 days working from home
Expenses: Can claim back miles/travel to visitsAbout the role:
As part of Bromley Council’s Reablement Team, you will:

Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for standard equipment and minor adaptations
Completing assessments with reablement senior support workers in relation to reablement interventions and goal planning. • Triaging of reablement cases.
Assessing for and providing specialist equipment, including seating. 
Completing Moving and Handling Assessments.About you:

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
Occupational Therapy Diploma /Degree.
Previous experience in reablement, community, or adult social care settings.
Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.Why join Bromley Council?
