A large, established and friendly early years setting in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join their passionate team. With opportunities available for both full-time and part-time hours, this is an excellent role for someone who loves working with children and is looking to grow professionally in a supportive environment.

About the Role

The nursery is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Shifts are allocated between these hours. The setting closes between Christmas and New Year, supporting staff wellbeing and family time.

You will help deliver high-quality early years care and education within a warm, child-centred environment, supporting daily routines, meaningful learning activities and positive relationships with children and families.

About the Setting

With 200 children on roll, 5 rooms and 110 daily places, this is a well-resourced and well-organised nursery operated by a committed team of 38 staff. The culture is described as long-standing, friendly and passionate, with many staff members having been with the nursery for years.

Training & Progression

The nursery strongly believes in internal progression. Many senior, room leader and management roles across the organisation are filled by staff who started as practitioners and grew within the company.
