Health & Safety Officer (Part-Time) – Exciting Opportunity in a Growing Business

Castle Manufacturing is delighted to be recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer. This is a permanent role based on site near Howden 

.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and line managers on Health & Safety policies, safe operating procedures, and risk assessments.

Support HR and Technical teams in preparation for external audits and compliance requirements.

Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety plans in line with legal guidelines.

Prepare and enforce policies to establish and sustain a strong safety culture.

Conduct regular inspections of practices, facilities, equipment, and operations to ensure compliance.

Manage statutory safety inspections

Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and preventative actions.

Candidate Requirements:

NEBOSH General Certificate.
Membership of IOSH.
Extensive and up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
Previous experience in health and safety management
