Laser Setter Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Laser Setter Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and setting CNC laser cutting machines (e.g., Bystronic, Trumpf, Amada) to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production drawings and specifications
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools
Record production data and ensure documentation is completed accurately
Work collaboratively with team members and follow all health and safety protocols
Identify and report machine or material issues to supervisors 
Requirements:

Previous experience as a laser operator or setter (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files
Familiarity with different materials (e.g., steel, aluminium, stainless)
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
