Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Slough | Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 DOE + Bonuses | Full-Time, Permanent
We are currently supporting the launch of a brand-new children’s residential care service near Slough Town Centre, and are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead the home through its initial registration and beyond. This is a unique opportunity to join a values-led provider, delivering high-quality care to children aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs.
This newly refurbished 4-bed home offers excellent space and facilities to support a therapeutic, child-centred environment. Candidates with Registered Manager experience are encouraged to apply, as well as Assistant or Deputy Managers ready to step into leadership.

Key Requirements:
*
Experience in a managerial or assistant role within children’s residential care
*
Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
*
Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop high-performing care teams
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards)
*
Ability to develop and maintain individualised care plans for children with EBD and associated needs
*
Confident in liaising with external agencies, professionals, and families
*
Skilled in quality assurance, safeguarding, and health & safety compliance
*
Able to support the home’s initial registration with Ofsted and lead on service development
