Role Summary

Here at Enisca Browne our people are central to everything we do and at this time we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and results driven Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.

We deliver projects across the whole of the UK and Ireland therefore we are open to considering candidates within commutable distance to either our Ilkeston or Cookstown offices with the flexibility for regular travel to our sites.

Some key responsibilities for the role:

Taking ownership of the Quantity Surveying function of several projects from tender handover to final account

Budget management and driving cost awareness within the operations teams

Cashflow & sales forecasting

Monthly payments (Applications, certification etc.)

Cost/value reporting

Sub-contractor procurement

Assess and raise required sub-contract certificates as required

Attendance at both internal and external meetings

Promote safe working practices within commercial function

Liaison with other departments and carrying out other duties as required.

Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

Personal Attributes

Degree Qualified in a relevant subject

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

The ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines

Proficient IT Skills, with a strong working knowledge of Excel and Word as a minimum

Effective communication skills including the ability to give presentations/reports to all levels including external stakeholders

Strong commercial acumen including demonstratable experience in preparation of detailed cost reports & forecasts

Competence in the use and administration of NEC3/4 contracts

Water Industry MEICA experience preferred but not essential
