Regional Growth Director – Hybrid
Location: Based in Derby, hybrid working arrangements are available
Salary: £70k to £75k per annum + Company Car or Car Allowance

We're growing – and we're looking for a driven, experienced Regional Growth Director with in-depth knowledge of the water industry or a similar sector to help us maximize business and growth across England and Wales.
We are part of the Stonbury group and are a leader in water asset inspection, cleaning, and repair services across the UK.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for maximising business growth through supporting Client Development Plans and by proactive engagement with new clients’ opportunities and emerging markets.
Furthermore, you will play a critical role in advancing our market share and creating lasting impact with our clients.
In addition to this as our Regional Growth Director you will be responsible for:
* Develop and execute business development strategies to grow our client base across England and Wales.
* Work on a mix of warm leads, cold outreach, and actively leverage your own industry network to generate opportunities.
* Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the water and utilities sector.
* Collaborate with the operations team to develop tailored Customer Development Plans.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to raise Panton McLeod’s profile and build connections.
* Provide regular reporting on pipeline development, sales performance, and market insights.
* Maintain and develop client relationships by attending client meetings and targeted networking events.
There will be travel across England, Wales and Scotland.
Who we’re looking for
* Proven track record in business development, sales, or key account management within the water industry or a closely related sector
* Deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
* Strong network of contacts within the sector across England and/or Wales.
* Skilled in both strategic planning and hands-on business generation.
* Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
What we’re offering
* £70k to £75k per annum
* Car allowance or Company Car
* 30 days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays), rising to 34 with length of service.
