We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Leader to support our food manufacturing operation on shift. This role is ideal for an experienced, time-served engineer who is strong both mechanically and electrically, enjoys being on the tools, and is ready to take the next step into leadership.

Description

Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
Oversee maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Monitor and analyse operational performance, implementing improvements where necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to align engineering goals with business objectives.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve engineering targets.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
Ensure all equipment and machinery are maintained to a high standard.Monday - Friday

2 Week of Days / 2 Weeks of Nights

07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00

Profile

An experienced Maintenance Engineer, ideally from a Food Manufacturing background, along with:

Strong technical knowledge in engineering and manufacturing processes.
Recognised engineering qualification
Previous supervisory or acting Team Leader experience (12 months ideally)
Understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and team management skills.Job Offer
