? Your Role: Field Service Engineer

As a vital part of the Power Technique team, you'll contribute to the company’s profitability by delivering professional and efficient service on a range of cutting-edge equipment.
You’ll be responsible for:

Servicing and maintaining portable air compressors, energy storage systems, generators, pumps, and handheld equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, primarily across the North of England and Scotland
Carrying out PDI and commissioning of new equipment
Identifying necessary parts for repair
Completing job reports accurately and on time
Coordinating your weekly schedules with the Service Planner
Promoting safety on all customer sites and workshops
Upholding high standards of engineering excellence
Maintaining your test instruments
Representing our client with professionalism and pride

✅ What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Hands-on experience with at least some of the following:

Energy Storage Solutions
Generators
Battery Systems
Portable Air Compressors
Pumps
Lighting Towers

Knowledge of the construction industry
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Microsoft 365
A customer-first mindset and a goal-oriented approach
A full clean UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
