Design Engineer – Sheffield – Permanent – Growing Manufacturer

Lodestone Recruitment is working with a long-established engineering manufacturer in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Junior Design Engineer due to continued growth.

The Role

Producing 3D CAD layouts & detailed drawings in Inventor

Supporting engineering, production & maintenance teams

Taking site measurements and inspecting components

Assisting with procurement, project admin & spares

Supporting build, installation & commissioning of equipment

What We're Looking For

Mechanical Engineering qualification

CAD experience and must have experience in Inventor software

Understanding of fabrication, machining & assemblies

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Willingness to learn and work proactively

Must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary - £40K plus (DOE)

*Please note that as part of the interview process there will be a drawing test on Inventor, so you will be expected to be able to demonstrate your skills and experience.
