A growing construction consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join its established project management team, delivering commissions across sectors such as education, residential and mixed-use developments. This Project Manager will operate within a professional consultancy environment, acting as the client's representative and supporting projects from early feasibility and design through to construction and handover.
This Project Manager role requires previous experience within a construction consultancy, where you have been exposed to client-facing delivery, professional reporting and working across multiple live projects. The Project Manager will work closely with senior colleagues and clients alike, contributing to structured project delivery while developing their own consultancy and leadership skills.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects across the education, residential and wider built environment sectors, ensuring delivery to agreed time, cost and quality targets. Acting as a key point of contact, the Project Manager will coordinate consultant teams, manage programmes and oversee risk, change and governance processes.
The Project Manager will chair meetings, prepare progress and client reports, and monitor design and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. Working within a consultancy framework, the Project Manager will ensure professional standards are upheld while supporting the successful delivery of client objectives.

To be successful in this Project Manager position, you will have:
Previous experience working within a construction consultancy
Experience delivering projects within sectors such as education or residential
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability
Sound knowledge of construction processes, programmes and project controls
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline
Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as RICS, APM or CIOB
