An energetic and student-focused school in Bournemouth is hiring a Music Teacher to join its Performing Arts faculty from September 2025. The successful candidate will deliver a creative and practical curriculum across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love of music across a wide ability range.

You’ll also be encouraged to support and lead ensembles, performances, and enrichment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging classroom music to KS3–KS4 students

*

Teach composition, performance, and listening & analysis (Eduqas)

*

Contribute to school concerts, showcases, and music clubs

*

Use music technology confidently (Logic, GarageBand, Noteflight etc.)

*

Champion inclusive access to music education

Candidate Specification:

*

Music degree and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent)

*

Confident in leading instrumental/vocal workshops

*

Experience with school productions or concert planning welcome

*

Commitment to high standards and whole-school participation
