In-House Technology Lawyer

I'm working with a well-established, global organisation to recruit a Technology Lawyer to join their in-house legal team. This role offers broad exposure across technology, IT, IP and compliance matters in a fast-paced, international environment. It's a strong opportunity for a lawyer looking to deepen their tech law expertise while developing into a more generalist in-house role.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing day-to-day advice on IT, technology and IP legal matters.
Negotiating technology licences, consultancy agreements and wider commercial contracts.
Supporting the legal aspects of new application development, including GDPR and regulatory considerations.
Managing relationships with external legal advisers to ensure matters are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
Supporting the global compliance framework, including data privacy, sanctions, AML, bribery and corruption and market abuse.
Building exposure to new areas such as financial crime risk management and specialist contract negotiation.
Assisting with ad hoc legal matters as required.

Essential requirements:

2-3 years' PQE.
Experience within a corporate or commercial legal team.
Exposure to technology, IT and IP law.
