We are working with a leading national contractor, recognised for delivering high-quality retail, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the UK.
The business has secured a significant retail project and is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day site operations and the successful delivery of this scheme.
The project will involve fast-track retail fit-out and refurbishment works within a live trading environment, requiring strong coordination skills and a proactive approach to health, safety, and programme management. Upon completion, the contractor can offer continuity of work across the region.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing daily site activities and coordinating subcontractors
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and cost targets
* Driving health, safety, and quality standards on site
* Managing logistics and sequencing works within a live retail environment
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and centre management
* Maintaining accurate site records and progress reports
