About the Role
A well‑established precision engineering company is seeking an experienced CNCMillingMachinist to join their skilled manufacturing team. This hands‑on role requires the ability to program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to produce high‑quality components within a modern, well‑organised workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production.
Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
Identify and report tooling or machine issues promptly.
Maintain machine cleanliness and workstation organisation in line with 5S and TPM standards.
Support quality processes to minimise scrap and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Assist in the training and mentoring of apprentices when needed.
Uphold all health & safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
2+ years CNC machining experience, ideally with strong CNC milling background.
Confident in CNC programming and machine setup.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
