Our client is a leading precision engineering company, looking to add an additional member to their team as a CNC Turner/Programmer

This is a permanent position in a friendly team which will be site based. Chesterfield based candidates would be ideal. 

The successful candidate will be competent at programming and understanding G codes for a Fanuc CNC machine. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control and a clear understanding of ISO9001 standards. The ability to deburr machined components during production cycles and handle setting tools is a must. 

Details - CNC Turner/Programmer

In return for your commitment, you can expect: 

£35,360p/a 

7:45AM - 4:45PM

Monday-Friday (Early finish on a Friday) 

40 Hour week

OT Available and paid at time and a half

20 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays

As a CNC Turner/Programmer, you will….

Read and interpret engineering drawings as well as working to tight tolerances

Work on all aspects of setting tools including understanding cutting speeds and feeds

Programme a Fanuc CNC with G Codes for all cycles including Roughing, Finishing, Boring, Drilling and Threading

Measure/Inspect all finishes products with Verniers, Bore Gauges and Micrometres

Maintain work areas in a safe & clean manner

Work well in a fast-paced team while having a positive attitude to work

To be successful in this role for CNC Turner/Programmer you MUST have:

The ability to programme and understand G codes for a Fanuc CNC machine

The experience in quality control and a clear understanding of ISO9001 standards

The ability to deburr machined components during production cycles

Strong work ethics and proven tenure of previous positions
