Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: SEN School - Milton Keynes
Start Date: September 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-Time Only)
Daily Rate: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Are you experienced in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviour? We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Milton Keynes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom and one-to-one support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges.

Assist in the delivery of tailored education plans and therapeutic strategies.

Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and communication development.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress.

Essential Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with ASD, communication needs, challenging behaviour, or related conditions.

Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.

A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

Two recent professional references (within the last 2 years).

Calm, patient, and adaptable approach with a genuine desire to help young people thrive.
