Interim Finance Analyst for a Local authority in London, paying up to £450 per day for an initial 3 month period, working 2-3 days on site.

Description

As the interim Finance Analyst you will be responsible for:

To consolidate financial information into meaningful reports for senior managers which provide analysis, outcomes, options and recommendations linked to the overall financial position reported. To ensure that these reports are timely and accurate
To attend department management team meetings to present the financial position, to interpret the outcome and explain any variances
To act as the key finance liaison with key partners and stakeholders outside of the council in relation to multi agency partnership projects or pooled budgetsProfile

The finance analyst will need to show working knowledge of IFRS16 and be able to demonstrate an understanding of capital accounting ideally from a Local Authority. A full accounting qualification will be beneficial (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and the succesful candidate will need to be on site 2-3 days a week.
