The School are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Design and Technology to join our forward-thinking team from September 2025. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape the future of our Design and Technology curriculum and foster a creative learning environment for our students.

About the Role:

As Head of Design and Technology, you will take overall responsibility for the strategic development and management of the department. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a broad range of Design and Technology disciplines, including product design, resistant materials, textiles, and graphic design. Your leadership will be pivotal in inspiring students to develop critical thinking, practical skills, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and develop the Design and Technology department, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning.

Develop and maintain a robust, innovative curriculum that meets the needs and interests of all learners.

Monitor and evaluate student progress and staff performance to drive continuous improvement.

Manage departmental resources and budgets effectively.

*

Foster strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and external partners.

*

Promote the department through extracurricular activities, clubs, and community engagement.
