Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

BPSS & SC Clearance Required (British Passport holders only)

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Electrician to support a prestigious, secure site in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and well-supported FM team working on a high-profile government contract — with no on-call rota.

You’ll be responsible for delivering a mix of planned and reactive electrical maintenance, supporting minor project work, and ensuring the ongoing compliance and performance of the site’s electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

*

Perform fault finding, testing, and repairs across a wide range of commercial electrical assets

*

Support small-scale installation and upgrade projects

*

Ensure all work is carried out in line with statutory regulations and company procedures

*

Accurately maintain job records via CAFM systems

*

Liaise with the Facilities Manager to maintain high operational standards across the site

Requirements:

*

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

*

Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) – desirable

*

Previous experience in commercial or secure/critical environments

*

Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance regulations

*

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

*

British Passport holder, eligible for BPSS and SC Clearance (mandatory for site access)
