The client, a leading national Real Estate and Planning with 180 years of experience, is looking for an ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join the Planning team in their B8irmingham office. They work on projects throughout the UK, and cover residential, commercial, planning and construction, renewable energy, rural consultancy, infrastructure and many more sectors.

This role is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience from sector-leading professionals and kick-start their career. The successful candidate will ideally have UK based work experience.

The Position of an Assistant Town Planner

Responsible for supporting the team in the delivery of a wide range of project.
Assisting with planning advice, planning applications and appeals.
Meaningfully engaged in all work streams and an active member of the team to help you consolidate your technical skills and confidence as you build your career.

Essential Criteria for the Assistant Town Planner

Degree or higher in relevant subject.
Previous consultancy experience.
Understanding of the UK planning system.
The ability to work as part of a team and be a self-starter working on your own initiative.
Have strong research, analytical skills, and reporting skills.
Be proactive and professional individual.
