A Cover Supervisor is required for a Primary SEMH school in the Newcastle area. This is a full time Cover Supervisor role delivering general cover lessons and working with children who are excluded from mainstream school and supporting them in class by handing out work and assisting the pupils. This is a long term role and it will start asap. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal candidate would:

* Have good classroom management skills

* Have a passion for working teaching children with SEN and SEMH

* Be able to organise themselves

* Have strong English and Maths ability to Primary level at least

* Ideally have experience in an SEMH school

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
