AC Supervisor - Manchester City Centre
Location: Manchester City Centre
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8-10 Months (Full-Time)
Working Days: Between Monday to Saturday
Overtime Available
Rate: Competitive day rate (discussed upon experience level)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced AC Supervisor to join a major project in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure 8-10 months of full-time work, with overtime available and the potential for ongoing work with a large, reputable client.
We are looking for someone who brings strong leadership skills, a positive and proactive approach, and excellent technical knowledge. You'll be leading and working alongside a supportive and professional team where good teamwork is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising AC installation teams on site
Coordinating and overseeing the installation of Air Conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, Split Systems)
Planning and managing workloads, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Quality assurance - ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in line with specifications
Carrying out site inductions and enforcing health & safety protocols
Liaising with the site management team, other trades, and the client as required
Assisting with testing, commissioning, and fault finding where necessary
Maintaining clear documentation and reporting on progressRequirements:
Proven experience as an AC Supervisor or Senior AC Fitter with supervisory experience
Relevant Air Conditioning qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent minimum)
Valid F-Gas Certification
Valid CSCS Card (Doesn't need to be a black Supervisor card if experience in a supervisory role can be clearly proven)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage teams and coordinate effectively with wider site teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Ability to work Monday to Saturday, with overtime as required
