Management Accountant – Permanent

Location: Swansea
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits (DOE)

Pro Staff Construction are working construction contractor based in Swansea. Due to continued growth and internal progression, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team.

The Role

Financial Reporting & Management Accounts

*

Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities

*

Journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany recharges

*

Group consolidation support

*

Balance sheet and control account reconciliations

*

Monthly cost centre reporting and analysis

Payroll & Control Accounts

*

Ownership of wage and HMRC control accounts

*

Payroll reconciliation in collaboration with payroll support

*

PAYE, pension, and payroll journal reconciliations

Statutory & Audit Support

*

Preparation of statutory financial packs

*

Liaison with external accountants

*

Annual audit preparation and compliance support

Reconciliations & Process Improvement

*

Bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations

*

Purchase ledger review and clean-up

*

Implementation of stronger financial controls and SOPs

*

Supporting junior team members and improving reporting processes

About You:

* ACCA / ACA / CIMA part-qualified, qualified, or strong QBE

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance role with management accounts exposure

* Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge

* Detail-driven, proactive and commercially aware
