Academic Mentor - English

The school are looking to secure an English Academic Mentor to start in September 2025 - July 2026 in the first instance. This role is a great opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to gain more classroom-based experience before going on to complete their PGCE. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience supporting children in a tutoring capacity. Application's from Graduates with a degree in English is highly essential for this role.

Main duties:

Provide guidance and coach students on raise their attainment level within English
Running 1:1 and small group interventions for children who are struggling and monitoring progress, motivating learners, and working with the head of English to make sure all needs are met.
