Tradewind Recruitment is working with secondary schools in Daventry that are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. These are full-time, long-term positions ideal for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to grow in a supportive school environment.

You'll be responsible for delivering dynamic, high-quality Science lessons that engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

What you'll be doing:

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated Science lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teaching across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3/4, depending on your specialism

Assessing student progress and adapting lessons to suit all learning needs

Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Collaborating with colleagues to support department development and enrichment activities

You'll be a great fit if you:

Hold UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification in Science

Have recent experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire young minds

Have effective behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

Are a team player keen to contribute to a forward-thinking school community
