Estimator or Senior Estimator - Facade / Cladding

* My client are an established contractor with a very strong reputation in the external envelope and facades marketplace.

* They have a strong emphasis on individuals development within the company, which has led to a low staff turnover.

* Their clients include numerous Top 50 main contractors, developers, and landowners, working on a wide range of landmark projects, both residential and commercial.

* HQ based in Essex with projects in London.

The Role - Estimator (Facades)

As part of the preconstruction team, you will be responsible for:

* Prepare full project cost calculations of materials, labour, equipment and other project expenses

* Ensuring that all estimates are accurate and comply with client requirements.

* Provide clear, timely and accurate project costings as well as creating client price presentations

* Review project plans, specifications and other related documents

* Mitigate risks

* Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

* Confident in using construction estimating software (e.g. bluebeam, excel, SchuCal+ or Logikal)
