Location: Near Burford, Cotswolds

* Salary: £38,000 gpa

* Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week, on a rota basis across 7 days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a private household in the beautiful Cotswolds.

Working within a supportive team and reporting to the Head Housekeeper, this varied and rewarding role will suit someone who takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards expected within this prestigious home, contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for both the family and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out daily housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard, including cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas

* Laundry care, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation, with particular attention to delicate and high-end fabrics

* Keeping all areas of the home tidy, well-presented, and stocked with necessary household items

* Assisting with the preparation and running of events or family gatherings, ensuring rooms and service are of the highest standard

* Working closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the household

* Monitoring household supplies and managing inventories to ensure stock levels are maintained

* Running errands such as shopping or accepting deliveries when required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth or luxury household

* A discreet and professional approach, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality

* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

* A team-oriented mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the household

* Confidence working under instruction as well as using initiative when required
