Sales Ledger Controller / Credit Controller - PART-TIME HOURS 20 hours per week (circa)

Vardey Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the recruitment of a part-time accounts administrator to take control of the sales ledger accounts administration. This part-time accounts role is based in the heart of Yeovil, Somerset and will suit an experienced Sales Ledger Controller/ Accounts Assistant keen to work a reduced hour week. The Part-Time Sales Ledger role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Administrator to join the dynamic finance team. You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day Sales Ledger activities, working closely with the Financial Controller and Director of Finance to keep invoicing and credit control running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
* Sales Ledger -
* Raise timely and accurate invoices
* Maintain customer records and credit limits
* Allocate customer receipts and resolve posting discrepancies
* Support aged debt reporting and credit control
* Banking & Month-End -
* Manage daily bank reconciliations
* Assist with cashflow reporting
* Support month-end processes and reconciliations
What We’re Looking For
* Proficient in Sage 50 - ideally or cloud based software
* Experience in sales ledger, reconciliations & credit control
* Strong attention to detail and methodical working style
* Able to meet deadlines while managing routine tasks
* Approachable, professional, and solution-focused
* Self-motivated and a strong team player
