Mechanical Engineer / Fitter – Multiple Locations (Including Sheffield)

Salary: From £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience/location)

Duties of the Mechanical Engineer/Fitter:

Installing and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems, including pneumatics & hydraulics

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

*

Carrying out fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance

*

Supporting the design, build, and commissioning of mechanical systems

*

Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards

The Ideeal Mechanical Engineer/Fitter:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Fitter

*

Strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills

*

Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics

*

Relevant qualifications (e.g., mechanical apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent)

*

A proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills
