Academic Appointments Ltd is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Secondary School in the BD9 area in the recruitment of a committed and enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a full-time maternity leave cover position lasting two terms. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving Geography department at a school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, known for its supportive staff and positive student culture.

The successful Geography Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ability to inspire pupils and foster a love for Geography is essential. The school is situated in the BD9 area, making it ideal for commuters and local applicants alike.

Candidate Requirements:
• A relevant honours degree and UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for teaching Geography and making a positive difference
• Two educational references
• An Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service
