A well-established precision engineering company in Portsmouth is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their afternoon shift team. This is a hands-on role for someone confident programming, setting, and operating modern CNC lathes in a production and precision-driven environment.

The Role:

Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines

*

Working on fixed head lathes, including twin spindle machines

*

Operating INDEX C200 Triple Turret lathes

*

Programming and editing at the machine using Fanuc controls

*

Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances

*

Reading and working from engineering drawings

*

Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven experience as a CNC Turner (programming, setting & operating)

*

Strong knowledge of Fanuc-controlled machines

*

Experience with multi-turret / multi-spindle lathes (especially INDEX C200)

*

Ability to work independently on the afternoon shift

*

A quality-focused mindset with attention to detail
