One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Technical Support Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
To assist the Southwark Cleaning management team in the technical provision, organising and co-ordination of resources by providing all necessary administration support
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the cleaning, grounds maintenance and tree services
* Data entry and processing, filing and photocopying.
* Receiving, sorting and distributing post and preparing outgoing post for despatch.
* Inter-office/departmental liaison e.g. providing/getting information from other sections.
* Face to face customer relations and back up cover for the hygiene services team.
* Initiating correspondence where appropriate.
