We are currently recruiting Driver Mates in Carlisle to support a busy delivery operation. This is an ad-hoc role, so your working days may vary between 1 to 5 days a week, depending on delivery schedules. Days of work will fall between Tuesday and Saturday, with immediate starts available.

What the Role Involves:

Assisting drivers with the delivery of large and heavy items, such as white goods

Heavy lifting and manual handling as part of daily duties

Providing excellent customer service at each drop-off

Accurately managing delivery paperwork and logs

Working flexibly based on delivery volumes and business needs

What We're Looking For:

Must have reliable transport to get to site as location is not on a public transport route

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

A positive attitude and a team player

Strong customer service skills and attention to detail with paperwork

Ability to work on short notice and adapt to a flexible schedule

Clean criminal record is essential due to the nature of the role

£12.27PH - £18.40PH after 40 hours worked
