This mainstream Primary School located in the Borough of Redbridge is looking for the perfect hard-working, resilient graduate to join their exceptional team! As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs who require some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model! You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom. This is a full time, long-term post, commencing ASAP.

** This is an ideal position for a Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor amongst others. **

Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom.
Encourage the development of the students' social skills.
Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs.
Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures.
Full-time, long term position starting ASAP.
Located in the Borough of Redbridge.Behaviour Support Mentor - Candidate Specification:

A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University - ideal not essential.
Genuine interest working with SEN.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt.
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable.
