SiD Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our clients dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking online orders, ensuring that all items are handled with care and quality control is maintained throughout the process. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

* Efficiently pick orders according to customer specifications

* Operate MHE and other materials handling equipment safely and effectively

* Maintain organisation within the warehouse, including stocking shelves and managing inventory

* Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards

* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve efficiency

Experience

* Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in picking and packing roles

* Familiarity with materials handling equipment, including LLOP or MLOP

* Knowledge of warehouse management systems is an advantage

* Experience in shipping & receiving processes will be beneficial

* Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is a plus

* Ability to perform quality control checks effectively

* Physical capability to manage heavy lifting tasks as needed

Shifts

2 week rolling rota - 6:00 - 18:00

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Pay rate

Standard pay: £12.50

Overtime rate: £18.75

This is a temporary position.
