Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add 2 x CNC Machinists to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Glasgow area.

Shift Pattern:

Day: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 1pm
Back: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 2pm - 9pm
Night: Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am, Friday 10pm - 5amHourly rate: £22.40 (including shift allowance)

Daily Duties -

Program, set-up, and operate 4 axis horizontal or 5 axis milling machines to produce precision components
Interpret engineering drawings and specification
Inspect finished products to meet quality standards
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot/resolve minor machine issues
Collaborate with production and engineering teams Candidate Requirements -

Time-served or relevant engineering qualification
Programming knowledge e.g. from scratch or machine side with Fanuc controls
