Role Overview of a Service & Maintenance Engineer

* Maintain & service fire detection, alarm, and gas suppression systems.

* Commission new devices within existing fire safety setups.

* Respond to reactive and scheduled maintenance calls, ensuring compliance with British Standards & BAFE regulations.

* Deliver outstanding customer service to satisfy our high-end clients.

* Support business operations across projects and sales.

* Be an integral part of the on-call rota, with overtime opportunities.

What You Need

* Experience with fire alarm systems like GENT, Siemens, Morley, Kentec, Notifier, Ziton & Eaton.

* Knowledge of ATEX, VESDA, and graphical user interfaces.

* Electrical background preferred, with FIA certifications (Units 1, 4 & 5) desirable.

* Ability to diagnose faults accurately and work under pressure.

* Strong IT & customer service skills, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
